Le Chat Qui Peche sur Argeliers

After a quick visit to the pretty village of Montouliers, we were looking for somewhere to eat. We stumbled upon this excellent place. Located on the banks of the Canal du Midi, it's a very peaceful restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. All the dishes are delicious, with plates to share, or not ;-p. We're already looking forward to going back!

We are on a Le Boat and stopped here based on a recommendation. We were not disappointed. Situated near a small foot bridge and a view of Canal du Midi and the Pyrenees snow capped mountains.

We went there this Sunday, what a delight! The idyllic setting, the tranquility, the terrace, the music—everything was perfect. And what can I say about the menu and the service? Well, 5 stars! ✨ A perfect place for families, friends, couples... whatever the occasion, just go! You almost want to keep this address a secret. Thank you to the people who welcomed and served us. They were smiling, attentive, and very friendly. A simple and unpretentious place in the best sense of the word. A feeling of shared happiness. A truly wonderful time. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful location!! And really good service I recommend to order lots of food to share so you taste all the wonders. First get an apéro outside and enjoy the sunset then have dinner inside.

Was there a few years ago. One of the best experiences we had on the trip. We went on a tidal wave and went up to this restaurant which was absolutely fantastic.
