Le Château des Îles sur Saint-Maur-Des-Fosses

We celebrated my son's wedding at this magnificent venue, and everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The setting is superb and very pleasant, ideal for such an important event. The organization was impeccable; everything ran with great professionalism and seamlessly. The meal was of high quality and enjoyed by all our guests. We would also like to highlight the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff, who were always attentive and smiling, which greatly contributed to the success of this beautiful day. A venue we wholeheartedly recommend for unforgettable moments.

An absolutely perfect experience at Château des Îles in Saint-Maur! The setting is simply magnificent: an elegant, peaceful, and exotic location, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a timeless moment. The service is impeccable, with an attentive, professional, and welcoming team. As for the cuisine, it lives up to the setting: refined, flavorful, and perfectly executed. Everything is in place for an exceptional experience. I highly recommend it!

A pleasant experience at first. The setting and presentation of the dishes are refined. The plates are beautifully presented, but in my opinion, there were too many sweet touches in some of the appetizers and main courses. Some dishes also arrived lukewarm, and the meat wasn't always cooked to perfection. The cheese course is limited to four choices, which isn't mentioned on the menu. Regarding the wine, when we ordered a second bottle, the sommelier explained that it was from the same estate, but a different vintage and appellation. However, he refilled our half-empty glasses, which was a bit surprising. The service is generally adequate but inconsistent. The glass of champagne listed at €20 on the menu was charged at €22. Finally, the prices are quite high overall, leaving a mixed impression in terms of value for money.

A very good restaurant with a traditional yet slightly updated menu. The quality/price ratio is excellent, as the dishes are executed flawlessly. The ingredients are high-quality, and the foie gras was superb. The service was quick and friendly. Absolutely nothing to complain about…

Restaurant review. Welcoming and very professional staff. Varied dishes, good cuisine, the quality of the ingredients is evident in every plate. 5 starters, 5 main courses, 5 desserts. We tried 2 different starters, 2 different main courses, and 2 different desserts, and everything was very good. Beautiful presentation, flavorful dishes. The cheese platter is impressive and caters to everyone's taste. I would have liked a selection of cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. There is a limited selection of white wine by the glass. Ample parking. 3, 4, and 6-course menus (€54, €69, and up). We'll be back!

I really enjoyed eating at Château des Îles. The biggest plus is the children's menu, which offers more elaborate dishes in smaller portions than the adult menu. Finally, a restaurant that offers something other than nuggets or steak and fries for children!

We came for lunch as a team of four colleagues and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We opted for the four-course menu and didn't regret it. The service was attentive, the dishes perfectly executed, and the flavors delicious. Now all that's left is to come back in the summer to better appreciate the restaurant's ambiance. But at least we enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace ;-)
