We ate there as a party of three tonight and loved it. The dishes (especially the duck and the vol-au-vent) as well as the desserts were delicious. The wine list is excellent and reasonably priced.
The only downside: the crumble.

What an incredible culinary experience! A huge thank you for all the sublime flavors and perfectly cooked dishes. The waitresses were so lovely. Don't hesitate, it's truly fantastic! Ignore the negative reviews.

A good lunchtime experience with the set menu...
but a few days later, we invited a couple,
and it was much worse.
One of the four dishes was served cold.
The service was chaotic, the bread arrived late, late,
the dishes were served diagonally across the table, a lack of training perhaps?
And the worst part was the dessert, the crambels,
almost an embarrassment to the kitchen,
It looked like semolina with pieces of pear, well, two pieces,
Watch out, the customers are 😡😡😡😡

What a pleasure to stop in Montbéliard this evening! I didn't have time to visit, but I did make a delicious stop at Le Châtel restaurant – what a discovery for my taste buds! 🥰🥰 The Morteau sausage craquin was a delight!
The veal pavé with foie gras sauce... what a delight! The cooking, the sauce, the vegetables were all perfect! 🥰
And the famous chocolate dessert ❤️ was simply divine – not just any chocolate fondant, but one with a hint of whisky in the sauce.
Bravo to the chef and thank you for delighting us with fresh, homemade products!
Bravo!
