During a bike ride from Taninges to the Col de la Joux Verte via Montriond, we ate at Le Chaudron on the descent, and it was definitely worth it, as the plate of potato galettes was incredibly generous.
Between the galettes, the salad, and the various charcuterie, neither Eric nor I managed to finish everything.
The waitress was energetic and smiling, we were served quickly, but it wasn't as crowded as it would be during peak season.
I've known Les Lindarets for a long time; this is my fourth visit in 20 years, and the goats are always the main attraction of this little village.

Fantastic restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our dog was welcome. The meal was excellent, honestly, nothing to complain about! The appetizer platter was very generous with delicious ingredients.
The chicken with porcini mushroom sauce was a pure delight.
The "Undergrowth" dessert was divine and WOW, it was magnificent! Bravo to the chefs and pastry chefs!! 👏👏👏 And thank you to the waitresses who were amazing (and all the staff who seemed fantastic too).
