16/08/2026: The place is very nice for a drink; I had a butter and sugar crepe which was also very good. The prices are reasonable for a touristy area. A big thank you to Salomé, who was a fantastic waitress, always cheerful and smiling. She took the time to take our picture and was very professional when taking our payment, keeping a smile on her face and her head held high even though her colleague was yelling at her and putting pressure on her in front of the other customers for a small mistake she had made. Well done, Salomé, and thank you again for your hospitality! 🫶🏻

10/08/2026: We had an excellent lunch at Le Petit Lindarets today! Everything was absolutely delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed it. But what impressed us most was the welcome: warm and attentive, the team did everything they could to make our daughter feel comfortable. A big thank you, we'll gladly come back!

We came during peak season, and despite the restaurant being packed, the staff did their utmost to find us a table and ensure we were welcomed warmly.
There was a bit of a wait, which was perfectly understandable given the crowds, and the staff were always very attentive and friendly.
Special mention goes to the two sisters who looked after us; they were lovely, smiling, and offered excellent advice. They took the time to explain the dishes and give us honest recommendations, which we greatly appreciated.
As for the food, the portions were beautiful, generous, and delicious, with a special mention for the blueberry tartlet, which was superb! 😍
All this in a very pretty setting in the heart of Les Lindarets. 🏔️
A fantastic place that we highly recommend. We will gladly return! 👌

15/08/2026: Just got roughly thrown out because we were drawing on the walls with chalk while chalk was ready. We don't understand it at all, and the bouncer threatened to fight us. Very weird. The staff behind the bar were great. Otherwise, what a weird place.
06/08/2026: A must-visit if you're in Morzine and want to enjoy the nightlife! Great music and a warm welcome, you won't be disappointed!

20/09/2026: The food wasn't great, but the service was adequate and the welcome was friendly.
19/09/2026: During a bike ride from Taninges to the Col de la Joux Verte via Montriond, we ate at Le Chaudron on the descent, and it was definitely worth it, as the plate of potato galettes was incredibly generous.
Between the galettes, the salad, and the various charcuterie, neither Eric nor I managed to finish everything.
The waitress was energetic and smiling, we were served quickly, but it wasn't as crowded as it would be during peak season.
I've known Les Lindarets for a long time; this is my fourth visit in 20 years, and the goats are always the main attraction of this little village.

But yesterday, for their Brasero night, I wanted to thank them for the excellent food and service.
Special mention to Quentin Louis and Jason who made the evening truly special!
The quality of the food, the presentation, and the quantity were all perfect.

09/09/2026: Stumbled across this place while cycling to Lac de Montriond. Tuesday night was their last BYO Bbq 🍖 so we grabbed some meat from the shop next door and chef cooked our food perfectly. You could help yourself to bread, coleslaw, potato salad and condiments. We had a fab evening and met some great people. ✌️

La marmotte d’or is a truly special spot, the interior is cozy and welcoming and the sprawling terrace has gorgeous views of the mountains; the sunsets here are stunning! The food is very well-portioned and reasonably priced with some good vegetarian and vegan options. There’s a good variety of drinks: beers, wines, cocktails and mocktails.
The bar regularly hosts events and concerts so it’s a great place to spend a fun evening. The staff is very friendly and all speak French and English. If you’re in or around Montriond it is truly worth the stop!

27/08/2026: A wonderful discovery for us. Without exaggeration, the best meal of our stay. A family-run restaurant with regional and homemade dishes. It's always nice to see something other than fries and nuggets on the children's menu. Friendly and incredibly efficient service. The rösti were absolutely delicious, as was the fresh trout.

06/09/2026: An unacceptable experience and a complete lack of respect.
I found an insect in my salad; it jumped right out of my plate while I was mixing it. The server's reaction was totally inappropriate: she immediately grabbed the insect from my plate with her fingers, simply threw it on the floor, and left without a word.
After waiting in vain for a response, I went to see the manager to explain that this situation had completely unsettled and distressed me. I pointed out that while the presence of an insect can sometimes happen, the staff's reaction was unacceptable. The manager offered to change my dish, which I refused because the incident had completely ruined my appetite. The person responsible never apologized.
My companion was also unable to enjoy their meal, which we nevertheless had to pay for in full. To top it all off, the initial welcome was impersonal and the requested carafe of water never arrived.
A deplorable experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
