Le Cheval Blanc is part of the "19 Good Restaurants of Sarthe" association, which I believe now only has 9 members, and it truly deserves its place! It's excellent, even the €41 set menu is a real treat! The morel compote is simply divine, and the crème brûlée is one of the best I've ever had! Impeccable service, well done!

Excellent restaurant, understated decor, carefully prepared meal, and well-chosen wines. The only downside is the noisy back room for groups. Otherwise, the quality of the service and the food was excellent; I highly recommend this place!

A very friendly and respectful young man, smiling from beginning to end, deserved praise. The two other waitresses were pleasant, although the youngest one should make sure to ask if everyone had finished their meal—nothing serious. Well done to the whole team! 😉 Thank you to the association for the warm welcome at the restaurant. The meals were well-presented, simple, and delicious, not too heavy—perfect. 💯✨ Best of luck!

Excellent food at a very good price. A starter/main course/dessert for €26 included delicious and beautifully presented dishes. It's a shame the service was a little slow.

Domaine de la Blanchardiére

21/07/2026: This is the second time I've rented this estate for birthdays. It's truly a lovely, spacious, and high-quality venue. It's very peaceful, located on the edge of the forest. The staff is very welcoming and goes out of their way to ensure our satisfaction. My guests were charmed by the establishment. A big thank you for your hospitality. I highly recommend Domaine de la Blanchardière and look forward to celebrating again. Thank you, and see you soon!
23/06/2026: To celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, we were looking for an elegant yet simple venue near Le Mans. We chose Domaine de la Blanchardière, and we are delighted with our choice. Amandine and Elli manage this venue very professionally and are also incredibly kind. They listened to our needs and were very approachable. The reception rooms and grounds are beautifully maintained, the bedrooms are spacious, and the bedding is excellent. All our guests loved this place! ... And so did we. Amandine and Elli, a huge thank you!

Domaine de L'Epau

07/08/2026: The restaurant "Le Verger" proved to be an excellent experience; the service, the location, the thoughtful touches, the food served—thank you for this pleasant moment.
02/08/2026: Impeccable service and a superb setting, but a surprising drop in the quality of the food. The value for money has significantly decreased. An Italian steak tartare without pesto or parmesan, with an egg, pickles, and a salad that wasn't particularly fresh, all for 25 euros. We were used to better.
