Le Chez Nous sur Verdun

A very pleasant surprise, a lovely interior dining room with a very inviting terrace. We ordered a casserole of snails in a pastis and leek sauce, very original and delicious, a generous portion. (Only €10.90) The suggested beef dish, on this particular day it was entrecôte at €23.80, so quite reasonable. We received a beautiful, not-too-fatty, and very flavorful cut. All this accompanied by a bottle of St Nicolas de Bourgueil for €20.00. I highly recommend it.

The food was okay, but the service and friendliness were appalling.

The quality/price ratio wasn't right. The goat cheese salad on a bed of leek fondue was a mystery to me, as I don't know where the leeks were, but there was a lot of green salad. It was okay, but nothing special. The chef's salad with chicken was really just a simple chicken breast. It's a shame because the setting is nice and the staff are friendly. They could do better.

Beautiful interior decor, everything is very clean. The owner is pleasant and smiling. The waitress and waiter are the same. Beautifully presented dishes, a real treat, thank you to the chef. This is our second time dining here, and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

The restaurant is quite nice. The artificial flowers aren't particularly welcoming when you arrive, and the same goes for the interior. But the restaurant itself is quite pleasant and clean. I had a piece of turkey with Roquefort sauce. It was really good. For dessert, I had a Melva strawberry. It's a good place to eat.

A small, very welcoming restaurant with tasteful decor. Pleasant terrace and friendly staff. The cuisine is traditional, presented with care and without pretension. Prices are very reasonable. The lunch menu is always varied. Highly recommended.

Family atmosphere, attentive service, pleasant decor, classic cuisine, but also successfully revisited homemade dishes, an address not to be missed in Verdun.

Thank you for the wonderful evening celebrating our colleague's birthday. Everything was perfect: the meal, the service, and the staff. Just one small point: when we were in the back room, we could sometimes smell cooking odors. But otherwise, no complaints.
