Le Chez Nous sur Verdun

A wonderful romantic dinner! Appetizers, main courses, cheese, and desserts, all accompanied by cocktails. Everything was beautifully presented and the food was excellent. The atmosphere is cozy, with background music and tasteful decor. The time between courses allowed for leisurely digestion and a pleasant finish. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is admittedly a bit outside the city center, but it's definitely worth the trip. They offer some very interesting set menus at reasonable prices, and the service is quick and friendly. You'll enjoy a lovely setting and a pleasant terrace, and as a bonus, parking is easy: enough said. Kudos to the whole team and the owner!

We had reserved a table for two and had taken care to let them know we would be late. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the reservation hadn't been registered. Despite this, we enjoyed our meal, but the service was very disappointing: the waiter was particularly unfriendly, rarely smiled, and seemed annoyed with every request. They even forgot to bring water to the table. It's a shame, because the food was good, but the reception and service don't exactly make us want to return.

We ate very well, nothing to complain about, very good, friendly and welcoming staff with two warm dining rooms.

A very pleasant surprise, a lovely interior dining room with a very inviting terrace. We ordered a casserole of snails in a pastis and leek sauce, very original and delicious, a generous portion. (Only €10.90) The suggested beef dish, on this particular day it was entrecôte at €23.80, so quite reasonable. We received a beautiful, not-too-fatty, and very flavorful cut. All this accompanied by a bottle of St Nicolas de Bourgueil for €20.00. I highly recommend it.

The food was okay, but the service and friendliness were appalling.

The quality/price ratio wasn't right. The goat cheese salad on a bed of leek fondue was a mystery to me, as I don't know where the leeks were, but there was a lot of green salad. It was okay, but nothing special. The chef's salad with chicken was really just a simple chicken breast. It's a shame because the setting is nice and the staff are friendly. They could do better.

Beautiful interior decor, everything is very clean. The owner is pleasant and smiling. The waitress and waiter are the same. Beautifully presented dishes, a real treat, thank you to the chef. This is our second time dining here, and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend it.
