Le Chill sur Calais

There was a problem at checkout; the cashier was busy chatting on Snapchat. The €10 minimum for card payments is far too high. This system needs to be reviewed. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the drinks and charcuterie board were decent. However, some staff members struggled to say hello and had difficulty putting down their phones in front of customers.

Both the beer and the food were generous portions, and I was very satisfied.

A place to jot down in bold in your notebooks. A very warm welcome, top-notch cuisine, and attentive, careful service. I had a beef rib marinated with a homemade barbecue sauce—absolutely amazing! Close your eyes and you'd think you were in Texas. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender and incredibly flavorful. For dessert, I tried the rum baba, which I always order at any restaurant when it's on the menu. And this was THE surprise: a perfectly shaped, large terrine-style pot containing a very plump baba (almost the entire pot!), swimming in a generous amount of perfectly balanced rum syrup, and topped with a mountain of homemade whipped cream. I'm quite particular about the quality of food, and here, I have absolutely no complaints. It's top-notch, and the price is more than reasonable. Don't hesitate any longer.

Nice atmosphere, unobtrusive music; it was crowded but not too noisy. We've been several times and have always had a great meal. Special mention for the generous brunch, a real treat. One small drawback: a slight cold draft that's a bit bothersome when seated near the bay windows.

As a regular at Chill, I go there often for a charcuterie board. The atmosphere is really pleasant, the service is warm and efficient, and the boards are beautifully presented and generous. It's the kind of place where you can relax and have a good time. A great find!

My first time here yesterday, and definitely not my last! This restaurant lives up to its name. Everything was perfect! The atmosphere, the warmth, the welcome, the service, the meal (the risotto was perfect).
