Le Chiquito sur Mery-Sur-Oise

First time eating in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and I was not disappointed! Everything was perfect, the Norwegian royal cod and the poached egg as a starter. Thank you, keep it up

Since 2002 we have been there almost a hundred times. It is a wonderful restaurant, one of those which makes the quality of our French culinary heritage and a certain terroir of Val d'Oise. We know the history of the different owners. We encourage new owners to continue their efforts, we will always be there despite the disappointments that may mark their journey.

In 2018, I came for dinner there twice, the quality in all compartments was present, the dishes, the wines and cheeses, the service, the advice of the sommelier but at the time the chef was not the same. The star retained by the new chef motivated me to discover her cuisine and the desire to relive a lovely experience with my partner. The disappointment in this month of February 2024 was great, despite the delay in obtaining a table, the restaurant is no longer up to standard, although the service is satisfactory, the waiting time between dishes was too long, we did not see any sommelier and finally chose our wine alone, a starter containing dried fruits and their pieces of shell.. was not pleasant to the teeth, the bread served by its shape and taste corresponded to that served in restaurant chains (probably frozen ) as for the dishes, the flavors unfortunately did not overwhelm us. I will only remember the desserts as positive points (the Paris Brest and the sezame yuzu chocolate) but the addition at around €200 for 2 seems steep. Shortly after our visit, we learned that the Chiquito was losing its star and it was justified. We will not return there.

First visit, the place is magnificent, the staff smiling and attentive. The dishes are excellent! The visual equals the taste! very nice discovery, I highly recommend this restaurant!

We are extremely happy with our evening of dinner at Chiquito, it was a gift but we will definitely return. It was fine, delicious, with a classy team! Not a fault. THANKS.

Service equals food! We had a great time in this very warm place. The dishes are tasty, the products are of high quality and the cooking is perfect. The service is not only professional but friendly. Special mention for the aged cheeses and so well presented 😉. We had known Le Chiquito a long time ago and were delighted to discover the new team there. Even if we live a little far away, we will come back! THANKS!
