Le choix de joel Robuchon - FERMÉ sur Paris

We visited this wine shop on a whim while walking around Paris. The proprietor is a genuinely nice guy who really knows his wines and who clearly has a passion for fine wine. He put up with my terrible French with grace. But most importantly, he selected two wonderful wines that would be unobtainable in the USA. The prices are very reasonable and the selection is very well curated and organized. Quality but not quantity ( though who knows ... there might be thousands of bottles below the first floor). I know the dessert wine from the Couteaux de Layon that I purchased was retrieved from downstairs.
