The staff and inn were fantastic, a discovery made with the Gourmet Passport. The meal was excellent, especially the sauerkraut – truly home-style cooking. We'll be back soon!

I came here for dinner and the service was excellent and efficient. The waitress was very professional and friendly! The tarte flambée was delicious, and the other dishes were great too! I highly recommend it!

A visit to Le Chou’Heim
The setting is pleasant and the service is adequate, but the overall experience was mixed.
I ordered a beef fillet for €29.90. The cut served looked very much like a hanger steak (long, very pronounced fibers, see photo). The flavor was quite strong. At this price point, you really expect to receive the advertised cut.
As for the dessert (profiteroles), the hot chocolate was good, but the portion was very small. The vanilla ice cream was very hard, very "icy," and clearly lacked flavor. The whipped cream seemed artificial.
Another annoying point: a tarte flambée forestière was charged on the bill even though we never ate it.
In the end, an acceptable experience, but several points for improvement.

We went back to eat at this restaurant! When we arrived, we were disappointed not to see the young manager who was there last time!
We asked where she was and were told she was on leave and it wasn't certain she'd be back at the restaurant…
It's a real shame because she was truly professional and always had a smile!
We also felt that the service was rather cold between the young man and the waitress, who, to be honest, was wonderful to us! But there was a frosty atmosphere… As for the food, we were very happy; everything was delicious!
We'll still come back and hope to see her again, or else you'll have to tell us which restaurant she's at! ☺️

Truly outstanding service on April 2, 2026!
Despite a large crowd and a full house, a single person was in charge of the entire service, and this in no way impacted the quality.
Everything was handled efficiently, calmly, and professionally.
Smiles and attentiveness to customers were always present, even during the rush. An impressive performance that deserves to be highlighted!
