The staff were very pleasant and friendly.
As I have a nut allergy, the staff (waitresses and kitchen staff) were very attentive to our needs.
The dishes were excellent and very generous.

January 2025 - A lovely little meal for two. Peaceful and quiet. The sauerkraut with three types of fish and the calf's head were much appreciated. Our little wood-burning stove kept us warm. There were workers there preparing the daily special, which is a good sign. Oh, and a very kind, calm, and pleasant waitress who made it possible for us to relax in this fast-paced world. Thank you, Cynthia, you were amazing!!! 😉🌟

A very pleasant surprise.
My friend and I had a wonderful time during our visit. The restaurant is very pretty. The terrace is magnificent (we stayed inside due to the heatwave, but we will be back). We had a very good meal chosen from the menu.
The service was perfect, nothing to complain about.
Thank you for this discovery.

Our table wasn't ready when we arrived at 7:30 PM. We waited for our aperitif, but it still hadn't arrived. We asked twice for cutlery and napkins when our first tarte flambée arrived—a goat cheese, walnut, and honey tarte flambée that didn't include walnuts or honey. We had to call the waiter again, resulting in a long wait. Our dessert order was never taken, and we ended our meal at 9:00 PM without having dessert or coffee.
We are regulars at this restaurant and have never had this kind of problem before.

Four years later, we stopped at Le Chou'Heim restaurant on our way back from our weekend in Strasbourg. Our memories of our previous experience resurfaced perfectly, leaving us with just as pleasant an impression. There was a good selection on the menu, and the service was excellent. A large terrace allowed us to enjoy lunch outdoors in the summer weather. The icing on the cake was the delightful surprise of being joined during our meal by a family of storks, one of the famous symbols of Alsace. I highly recommend Le Chou'Heim to anyone looking to spend a pleasant time enjoying quality regional products.
