Charming welcome, impeccable service, very attentive staff. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed it...a special mention for the perfect egg which was absolutely perfect...simply divine! We will definitely be back.

I had the opportunity to discover Le Clapotis today. The restaurant is located on the shores of Lake Cher, which provides a very pleasant setting. This is further enhanced by the tasteful interior decor. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and professional. Finally, the value for money is very good. At Clapotis, the cuisine makes waves… The dishes arrive like a controlled swell: carefully selected ingredients, precise presentation, and clearly gastronomic inspirations. You can feel the expertise, and sometimes even a pleasant hint of the sea. As for the flavors, it's more of a gentle ripple than a dramatic surge. Some dishes shine, others leave a more subdued impression, like a wave crashing before it has truly reached its peak. The prices, however, are on the high end. They are consistent with the stated gastronomic ambition, but demand that every bite live up to expectations—which isn't always the case. In short: a serious, refined restaurant, sometimes brilliant, sometimes a little too tranquil. A pleasant stopover… even if we're still waiting for the high tide.

A warm and friendly welcome, efficient service. The food was quite good, though not exceptional. My only regret was that my Charolais beef was of very good quality, cooked to medium as requested, but it was charred. A small error on the bill, but quickly rectified. Yes, the staff were very friendly and efficient, but there's room for improvement in the kitchen. I'll come back to see if they've improved.

A beautiful place, a very warm welcome, and what can I say about the food? A feast for the eyes and the palate! We ordered a set menu but received the same portions as the à la carte menu. Delicious, beautifully presented, and generous, with excellent wine recommendations. We will definitely return.
