Le Clocher sur Tournon-Sur-Rhone

03/03/2024: Warm welcome, large and beautiful room with a clear view, in the heart of Tournon. Very well insulated from the outside, less from the inside.

02/12/2023: I love this place. Perfectly situated near the huge parking lot on the river (they have their own parking space but it’s 600m away) it offers good old-fashioned comfort with a smile, even if you arrive somewhat grumpy after a long drive as I did. Bed super comfy, with supplemental square pillows on top of the armoire for those of us unused to bolsters. Tea and coffee and a kettle in the room.Dogs welcome for a small supplement. If you don’t want to lug your bags up too many flights, ask for a room on the first floor. If you choose to park under the trees get a disk from the tourist office nextdoor on which to indicate the time you arrived. If you get here Saturday evening you’ll wake up in the middle of a big open market that fills the quay on Saturday mornings.
