Very good idea for this great location but has grown...lots of people and too slow service. Damage

Hidden deep in the woods, if you hadn't been told about it, you wouldn't look for it - let alone find it. Most memorable lunchtime. Excellent food, swift attentive and friendly service - good value by Meribel standards.

Restaurant hidden in the middle of the forest and accessible only by ski slopes between the fir trees or on foot. The food is good and the meats are grilled over a wood fire which gives them a smoky taste, ideal for flank steak, entrecôte, or prime rib. The chicken with morels was also very tasty. As a starter, we were delighted with the snails and the Savoyard casserole. We were a little disappointed with the blueberry tart which wasn't really up to par with the rest. In addition, the prices are quite high but somewhat justifiable by a unique location.

Everything was good, but a little expensive. Restaurant a little difficult to access, the slopes in March are no longer so beautiful.

I have been going to Clos Bernard regularly for 8 years. The place is magical in the middle of the forest, the cuisine delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant. Over the years, the terrace has expanded, the clientele has changed, and prices have increased significantly. Everything has become very bling bling! A very wealthy, noisy clientele and have you seen me. Damage! During a lunch with friends at the beginning of February, the waiter criticized us for not having wine or starters and made a mistake in the bill without apologizing. I felt poorly treated, I am not ready to go back there for lunch or dinner. Sad, I really liked going there.

Magical place in the middle of the mountain where you have to take a small path between the trees to find the restaurant. Thursday, the only sunny day of the week where we were able to enjoy the sunny terrace 😎. We opted for the mushroom tart as a starter then entrecôte and pork chop for my friend. Everything was super good although a little expensive all the same, especially the change of toppings at 5 euros. For dessert, I had the blueberry tart: a little disappointed because I would have liked a tart with lots of blueberries instead of a kind of blueberry pastry: I think that technically, it's very strong but nothing worth the classic ;) In any case, great spot and we will come back. THANKS.

Great location above meribel village and tasty food. All of their morel mushroom dishes are recommended
