Le clos des marronniers sur Grenoble

I went to Grenoble following the Tour de France, and my accommodation happened to be near this restaurant, which was incredibly lucky. The day we arrived, it was already past lunchtime, but they kindly agreed to prepare something for us, and it was one of the best meals of my life. They made us feel right at home. Sylvie and the entire staff at Le Clos are spectacular. We went back every day for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner, or just for a couple of beers. We even went to a concert by a local band. The service was always excellent, the food delicious, and the drinks perfectly chilled. I hope to return soon; I already miss them a lot. It's definitely one of my favorite places in the world. A family meal with children of all ages. Personalized and attentive service. Generous portions of delicious, homemade food, and fast, efficient service. The atmosphere is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the concert and music are great (really great). I highly recommend it!

Coming from Tours (the most beautiful city in France), I discovered this really great, laid-back little restaurant. Incredible, homemade food. Absolutely delicious. Seriously. A fantastic waiter with a lovely Isère accent 😁 The owner is exceptionally kind. I highly recommend it 200%! Thank you all!

Excellent meal. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a festive and cheerful evening. We came specifically to attend a Mediterranean music concert and to have dinner, and we weren't disappointed. In addition, the restaurant's dog is particularly adorable. I highly recommend it.

Go check it out!! The food is excellent 👍, there's a room after the bar and a very large, pleasant outdoor terrace to enjoy a good time. I recommend going there and going back!!

Simple and natural! But excellent, old-fashioned bistro cuisine just the way we like it. Meals around €20-25. More than generous and high-quality portions. A post-war bistro atmosphere, the owner herself cooking and serving, but with no waiting between courses. A big thank you to her! 👍👏👏👏👏

Dishes made with love. Classics, unpretentious yet with all the quality you could want. Desserts to die for. Attentive service, an atmosphere as warm as the chef's. A delight <3
