This is a delightful Provencal-flavoured gastronomic restaurant in the village of Le Rouret outside Grasse. What makes it charming is that despite being a Michelin-starred restaurant of superb quality, the atmosphere is relaxed and rural-feeling. The cooking is excellent and Chef Ettlinger even finds time to chat to his guests. The "menu du marche'" is exactly that, changing daily according to what's in season but trust the chef to deliver, of course taking into account any previously mentioned dietary restrictions. For a top restaurant, Le Clos is excellent value, with the less pricey lunch menu a good introduction but the dinner experience feels more leisurely and more romantic. Highly recommended, with no caveats. And try their Bistro too!

Very nice place but average service, no communication regarding the dishes, also missing one choice of main course in the tasting menu and a small salad with the cheese. The owner makes the rounds of the tables, which is good 👍
