The place is in a quiet part of town and somewhat feels like a different fishing village which gives it a relaxing vibe.
The food was absolutely outstanding. The fish soup is definitely to try along with the grilled fish.

Pure bliss! A very warm welcome. We were seated on the terrace. The music wasn't too loud. Our waiter, Gabriel, presented the different fish dishes that would be prepared and then advised us on the menu. There was hardly any wait. Everyone was served at the same time, even though there were many of us.
The team, managed by Céline, is extremely polite and attentive. The waiters brought water without us even having to ask, anticipating our needs! Thanks also to Noé for his hospitality. We enjoyed an excellent white wine, recommended by the waiter.
The desserts were also excellent.
The setting by the sea and near the shipyard is idyllic. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.

I went to this restaurant for my father-in-law's birthday. The setting was lovely, and the atmosphere was great. Gabriel gave us a very warm welcome, everyone was served promptly, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it!

A lovely restaurant located on the outskirts of the port town of Villefranche-sur-Mer.
The charming waitress provided excellent service. The fish soup was flavorful, and the artichoke salad was truly delicious, with the natural flavors of the ingredients shining through.

As regulars at La Corderie, we had lunch there on Saturday and I was disappointed, not with the service, which was perfectly fine, but with the dishes we ordered. The shredded lamb shoulder had a burnt flavor and the lamb itself was slightly strong, and the sea bass fillet was overcooked and dry. The fried anchovies were swimming in water.
A bill of over €100 in this case is very disappointing. It's a shame, I used to like this place after having some good times there.
