Le Cocon des Neiges sur Saint-Martin-De-Belleville

Brilliant choice for a family ski holiday. Staff are excellent and really friendly. The kid's club staff were great and really enjoyed their caring duties with all the children, this made the whole holiday go smoothly, definitely recommended.

3rd season done now with Ski Famille, 2nd time in Cocon de neige as always the hotel is ran like clockwork under the management of Tom who is great and very helpful. Big shout out to all the kids club team specifically Will and Amelia who really made sure our two daughters were well looked after. I’d like thank Arthur who really is a gent, no problem is too big or small, his local knowledge and kind helpful nature wants me to book this hotel again next year alone. I also want to thank Umberto the Italian Stallion who was there to help no matter the issue. Our primary waiter George was also great and offered some great insight into the working day in a chalet and inspired my daughter to look into it when she’s older. You cannot beat this hotel for location, food and just general convenience. If anyone is on the fence and thinking about going for it then go for it.

Stayed in a chalet style accommodation, for a week, with a 2.5 year old. Staff are always available and frequently ask if there is anything they can do to help, every time we needed something (couple of extra pillows, toilet rolls top up etc.), they were happy to help and quickly got what we needed. The gondola is a 30 sec walk, there is a spa 2 mins away, you can bus down to a busier area (croisette) if you want to. Hotel staff helped us get organised to take the children to go see fireworks at Croisette and gave us takeaway cups so we could get free hot chocolate whilst we were there. We would absolutely recommend and stay here again for another ski holiday. The food was brilliant, we have so many compliments to give the chef and kitchen staff. Always presented beautifully, 3 courses plus a cheese board if you wish. Prosecco, appetiser, and Wine or soft drinks included with your meal. Children's meals were FAB, nutritious and familiar but so much better than what we would have cooked at home. The 'fish fingers' were actually filets of fresh fish that they had cut and battered to look like 'fingers'! We all agreed that we would also have been extremely happy to eat the children's food too! The staff in the Nursery were fantastic and took the children on little trips out, as well as lots of messy play, baking, and painting. They always kept us updated on how our littley was doing, and when they would be back from their adventures. Nappies, water bottle, and room toiletries were all provided, and there is a shop 2min walk away if you need anything else. Only thoughts for tiny improvements - a bit more room lighting please, a few more hooks for drying items (or a folding drying rack?) and a bit more storage if at all possible, whenever Ski Familie do any upgrade programs! These are minor things though, we will definitely come again whether these are added or not! 😊

The staff are fabulous and cannot do enough to accommodate and ensure you have the best of times. Location is perfect for families with great access to slopes, ski schools and shops etc. The rooms are clean and cosy but maybe a little tired, if they were updated they could do with a little more storage and improved lighting. The food was great for the kids and very good for the adults meals. Childcare team were very kind and understanding. Overall a great stay we would definitely visit again.

Great first skiing trip for the family, everything on your doorstep

Stopped for lunch with family, friendly service, great location. Food choice is good, but with many mountain eateries its average quality. But would stop again as it’s on a nice fast blue with easy access back to VT
