Le Coeur d'Or sur Combloux

It was a great discovery! A very warm welcome. A whole team ready to make our stay even more pleasant in Combloux. The Viennese chocolate, waffles and lunch meals are excellent. I highly recommend this very friendly place.

The restaurant lives up to its name😊. We went there with my partner on Valentine's Day evening. The restaurant offers its customers a package during the winter season where they pick you up from the car park a few km further down the mountain and take you to the restaurant on a snowmobile. The same goes for the return after dinner. The meal includes a starter, a meal divided into two courses (fondue and cheese mushroom crust), homemade dessert of your choice and coffee. The welcome was excellent and very warm. The place is authentic and what you would expect from a mountain restaurant. We really appreciated the authentic side of the place and the unique experience but also all the attention and care given by the staff (smiles, knowing if everything was going well, if we needed something... In all simplicity...) We felt very comfortable. It's been a long time since this happened to me in a restaurant. The all-inclusive price (60€) was more than reasonable taking into account everything that was offered and the contingencies linked to the difficulty of transporting the products to the site (which was not reflected in the bill!). We also appreciated that no excess was applied to this service even though it was Valentine's Day (as many restaurants do). I highly recommend this wonderful place if you want to eat or even drink a hot chocolate / eat a waffle at the bend of a slope on the Beauregard side 😉 (I did it and even felt it) or even if you want to dine with family or couple near Combloux. For my part, I will return there without hesitation.
