Breakfast break on the way down to Vendée 😉 Perfect welcome and service We were able to buy a croissant at the bakery next door (because they had run out) 👍🏻 Small terrace with a view of the Place Royale with free parking (blue zone)

While passing through Châteaudun, we had lunch at this friendly brasserie-bar. Simple but homemade cuisine, reasonable prices, and a warm welcome—in short, we had a great time.

The fries were too greasy and had a rancid aftertaste, it was not at all pleasant in the mouth. The tiramisu is too liquid, the ladyfingers are too soaked, your recipe needs to be reviewed, and the crème brûlée is also too liquid, not enough consistency. If you improve that that would be great.

19/02/2026: An excellent restaurant, a superb chef, and impeccable, friendly service at unbeatable prices.
14/02/2026: Perfect. I discovered this restaurant by chance while attending a concert in the area. I just went back two years later, and it's still just as good. Excellent food. We drove two and a half hours just to eat there. You have to go; you won't be disappointed. Be warned, you need to book, as it's in high demand 😁. See you soon. Congratulations again to the team.
