The counter is great for a quick bite or a simple waffle (they're homemade and absolutely delicious). The only downside is the service system, which can be confusing. You can order at the bar, order at your table (though not everywhere, it seems), and there's also a self-service option.
The deck chairs are very comfortable when the weather is nice.

I have eaten here many times this season and the food has been fantastic and with great service. Best steak in the valley so I keep going back. Can’t remember the waitress name but she is the most attentive and helpful, I’ve had locally.

Great place to relax and enjoy delicious waffles. The only major drawback is the somewhat complicated ordering process (one order at the counter, one order via QR code, and one order at the snack bar). You have to serve yourself cutlery and a carafe of water. The fries were cold and frozen, which was disappointing.

Had the lamb shoulder for two. Great presentation and flavour. Good pint of Guinness too. Good coffee, and the snow front is a great place to sit and people watch. Self serve water is a bonus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Le Comptoir. Everything was excellent, from the duck tournedos to the sweetbreads, the fondue, and the Mont d'Or with truffles. A real treat! Thank you to Junior, our server, for his attentiveness and kindness. Furthermore, the recommended wine was excellent.

Very pleasantly surprised!
I was a little hesitant at first because of the reviews.
Everything was perfect: the cooking, the sides, the service, the wine—it was flawless!
