Le Comptoir des Colibris sur Cologne

The staff is friendly, and the open kitchen is a nice touch. The portions are generous, attractive, and the food is very well prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Told to leave after 30 minutes despite having been pointed to a table and agreeing that only drinks were being served. We came for an evening drink at 6:30 pm and I asked if they were open. The answer was "yes for drinks, but not for meals". Drinks was our objective. So that was fine. We were shown a table with 4 seats at the end of the terrace. To get the drinks menu we had to go inside and ask for it. We ordered 2 Hugo spritz and a green tea soda. The Hugo spritz (8€ / wine glass) were fairly insipid. Way too much sparkling water to my taste. The tea soda was nice, but at 4€ a 25cl bottle, you expect it to be. At 7 pm, we were asked to leave the table they had pointed us to for them to dress it for the meal service. I should point out that at 7 pm, there were absolutely no customers for the meal service. Why were we pointed to that table and told only the drinks service was open if 30 minutes later we were to be asked to leave?! I doubt we'll go back.

Excellent restaurant with a limited menu featuring only regional products, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Good value for money and friendly service.

We had the duck leg with red wine, followed by the Fusion Chocolat for dessert. The duck was excellent: incredibly tender and cooked perfectly. You could barely even need a knife, as the meat just fell off the bone. The potatoes and purée were also very good. The Fusion Chocolat was a little underwhelming compared to the main course, but still decent. I really like that the menu has only a few options. Everything feels carefully selected rather than overwhelming you with dozens of dishes. The staff were very helpful and professional, and spoke English. The restaurant was clean, including the toilets, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Overall, a very good experience and definitely a place I would recommend.

I'm passing through the region in my campervan (thanks to the local council) and I'm on my main course. I have no doubt about the dessert... So, off the cuff, I'd say you absolutely must eat here. The products are local, fresh, and high-quality. The atmosphere and service are pleasant. I highly recommend it!

Warm restaurant, impeccable service, fit and caring team, incredible products, I recommend it 100% after a long day or for a friendly get-together, I will be back!

We had lunch today, July 17th, at Comptoir des Colibris and all the dishes were delicious, from the summer salad to the pesto pasta. The garlic chicken, squid, and vegetarian meatballs were also excellent. The person who served us was very friendly and smiling, and the prices are unbeatable! In short, a restaurant we highly recommend! From a table of 7 from Nantes.

A wonderful experience, a lovely discovery. The setting, service, and food were all excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is truly unique.
