Le Comptoir Des Dombes sur Lapeyrouse

One morning, I had a craving for frogs' legs, but my two favorite frog restaurants were closed on Mondays 🫣. So I went to Comptoir Des Dombes.... Wow... It was worth the trip! Cool atmosphere, very friendly staff, and above all, perfect frogs' legs—cooked and seasoned to perfection. But the quantity? That was incredible generosity! I've rarely eaten so much..... We're so glad we discovered this place, which is now etched in our memories.

Good place, we recommend this restaurant

It was entirely by chance that our son was looking for a restaurant. Without any difficulty, he got a table for three. We received a very warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed their starters, followed by the frogs' legs and then the excellent gratin dauphinois. Dessert and coffee were also delicious. We were delighted and highly recommend them. The staff who served us were very kind and attentive to their customers.

The starter was a true delight, the foie gras was superb, the duck breast and succulent baby vegetables, and the frogs' legs were excellent as always. The service was gracious and perfect. Thank you for this wonderful experience. Plus, there was an adorable dog—the best!

The food was excellent. The Dombes menu was superb and well-presented. The staff were welcoming and attentive. This establishment is definitely a good place to eat.
