We have come several times over the last few years and have never been disappointed; which was not the case last summer: my husband had read for his dish “…fondant potato…” he had to look it up! And ended up finding a mini potato slice hidden under “half mini vegetables”! It's becoming unbearable for this kind of restaurant that presents mini portions on large plates! Damage !

In a beautifully landscaped heritage setting, we had a great gastronomic time. We tasted the menu for €54. The price is justified by the quality and accuracy (seasoning and cooking) A good address

On recommendation of the Michelin guide. In terms of cuisine, the offering is good and the tastes are there. On the service side, a lot of off-topic interactions and familiar remarks. Budget-wise it's really cheap compared to the Dishes

superb restaurant, excellent food for the price. A menu for 30 euros, starter, main course, dessert, unbeatable value for money. Very good home cooking. Small downside for the service, extremely long and very familiar waitress, who allows herself really limited reflections.

Le lieu est magnifique surtout lorsque l’on dîne dans la cour. La nourriture est un peu décevante par rapport à ce que j’en avais lu et à la recommandation du Michelin. J’aimerais dire que c’est pas mal mais la classification n’existe pas… pas facile de trouver une bonne table à Uzès.

Déjeuner en semaine donc pas de monde. Service accueillant. Les plats sont bien travaillés et la cuisine goûteuse. Belle présentation des assiettes. Menu 3 plats 25 € raisonnable pour la qualité des produits. Nous nous sommes régalés. Merci à vous 🤗

02/09/2024: I have good memories from 5 years ago... I think the restaurant has lost a little of its dynamism but you absolutely won't be disappointed 👍
01/09/2024: Small, friendly restaurant on a square that is much less stuffy than the restaurants on the large main square. The service is pleasant, the menu is simple, but offers most of the possibilities. The nectarine salad is excellent. Even if for my taste there is a little too much green salad. The prices are correct. The glacier lacks a little flavor outside of the fundamentals.

Le Bec a vin

04/09/2024: Le Bec à Vin in Uzès is truly a charming place, with its medieval setting and its shaded garden. We went there twice, so yes, we liked it! The cuisine is excellent, based on fresh and local products, and perfectly highlights the flavors of the region. The wine list is also remarkable, with very nice selections. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The boss, for example, could show a little more warmth. He has a slightly pedantic attitude and lacks a bit of empathy, which can make you uncomfortable. We feel that the staff are a little under pressure, which is a shame because they are friendly and professional. A word of advice: remember to book in advance, otherwise you risk finding yourself in a slightly embarrassing situation with a boss who doesn't immediately put you at ease. Finally, the lighting on the terrace could be redesigned: white light bulbs do not do justice to the atmosphere of the place. Warmer lighting would be much more suitable for creating a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. In short, Le Bec à Vin is worth the detour for the quality of its dishes and wines, but a few adjustments could make the experience even more pleasant.
