So, we set off for dinner and the evening with a couple of friends. Upon arrival, there was a parking lot with an attendant, and the entrance was renovated and luxurious. The restaurant had pleasant music and a bar. During the meal, which was very decent and good for the price, I chatted with a very friendly waiter. The evening continued with a new clientele, which we found very lively. And there I was again with the waiter Tony..., with whom we struck up a conversation, and who told me he was the new manager.... In short, we had an excellent evening; you can go without hesitation and even return. I should mention that we've been in this business for over 15 years and have seen many, many places... An address where you immediately feel welcomed, surrounded by a subtle blend of refinement and warmth. The spaces are immaculate, tastefully decorated, and the atmosphere, both intimate and vibrant, naturally encourages conversation. Excellent meal. Nice atmosphere upstairs, choice between dining at a group table (our choice, much better for getting to know people) or a table for two. The singer was fantastic. The club was clean, with good security, and large enough for dancing, however, the music played by the current DJ spoiled the atmosphere for us. There weren't enough cozy corners.

A rather mixed review. The website states that you should let them know if it's your first visit so they can give you a tour. Well, that was a huge disappointment right from the start. The receptionist was colder than a prison guard and asked us, "Your cloakroom?" We exchanged a mixture of questioning and bewildered looks, and she handed us a menu without explaining anything except, "Go upstairs and wait at the bar, there's a singer." We arrived at the bar, but there was no singer for 45 minutes, and only four seats. Luckily, we were an hour early, otherwise she would have thrown the menu at us and ushered us out during the lunch rush. At first glance, the restaurant seemed quite classy, ​​very classy even, with a pleasant singer... until he started singing Jul songs and everyone started shouting along with him, "This is Marseille, baby!" At that point, the overall impression plummeted. The bar area quickly became overcrowded as people arrived and crowded in. Despite this, management wasn't in any hurry to open the club, arriving 30 minutes late. And it wasn't even to prepare the room, as we went down to a cold, very cold, cellar. It was January 3rd, -2°C outside, and the door to the smoking area was left open all night... The "cuddle corners" weren't heated, and there were no condoms or disinfectant. Hygiene is clearly not their priority. The only positive thing was the man who went around picking up the numerous pieces of trash left on the floor by this rather uncouth clientele. It's a shame for a club that seemed classy to see that money is their only priority. I'll conclude by highlighting their lack of consideration for customer safety, not hesitating to use fireworks on bottles with very low ceilings, a clear reference to the accident that occurred in Switzerland three days prior...

Overall, a disappointing experience despite a few positive points. At the entrance, and especially at the exit, you often have to wait nearly 20 minutes, as only one person manages everything, creating long queues. In the "cuddle corners," no condoms are provided. One of the corners is actually quite pleasant, but it's located right next to the smoking area: you can smell the cigarettes inside, which is a shame. The couples' area, with its large, aquarium-like windows, effectively separates couples. The shower is on the opposite side of the couples' area, there are very few towels, often none at all, you have to walk past the toilets—great!—and the heating in the mixed area hasn't worked for several visits, which is ridiculous in winter: it's cold, so nobody stays there, resulting in zero atmosphere. The positive points: the restaurant, the very pleasant atmosphere upstairs, and downstairs, the room to the right as you enter, which remains the most convivial area of ​​the club. An establishment with potential, but many organizational and practical aspects need to be reviewed to offer a truly worthwhile experience.

As newcomers to this scene, we received a fantastic welcome with a personalized tour of the venue. We felt completely at ease. The music, the people, everything was designed to ensure we had a great evening. We'll be back! 🤪

This club is great, with everything you need for a good night out. The staff is always friendly. And if you book a table at the restaurant, you won't be disappointed by the chef's dishes. Don't change a thing, it works!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, nice cuddle corner. Great encounters. Very good restaurant with good service and very reasonable prices. Whether it's Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday, there's a good atmosphere. The establishment is clean, but it's a shame some people don't dispose of their own trash. I recommend it.

La Lanterne is the best libertine club... The number 1 club, a magnificent place. Gourmet restaurant, delicious and extremely fresh menus... What a staff!
