Magical…. One of the most beautiful museums in the world, I recommend purchasing the ticket a few days before arrival as access is possible at set times

The Louvre Museum is perfect, a beautiful place, everything is neat. It's all about having a ticket in advance so you don't have to wait hours. What is there to admire, the statue of Hermaphroditus of Halepas, the Venus of Milos, the Victory of Samothrace, the Mona Lisa, the huge paintings by well-known painters. Take your time and enjoy, because to go around the whole Museum you will need days! For most visitors to the Louvre, the halls of Greco-Roman statues and the halls of paintings are enough for one day.

There was a stampede in front of the Mona Lisa painting! But seeing the Venus statue fascinated me again🥲🥲

Very crowded, impressive architecture and artwork. It seems to be an issue all around Paris - not enough facilities for the visitors. Smelly toilets and long queues to use one, cleaning wasn't their strongest point.

Anyway, it's vast.
It is broadly divided into French painting, Italian painting, Greek art, and Egyptian art.
We recommend that you focus on the areas that interest you and take a closer look.
The Italian painting section is crowded, probably because of the Mona Lisa, but other than that, you can enjoy the paintings at a relatively leisurely pace.
I went around a little slowly by myself, but it took about 4 hours.
We recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes.
Entry from the Glass Pyramid is crowded, so we recommend entering from the entrance along the Seine River.
There is also a museum shop just beyond the exit, so it may be difficult to pass by without buying something.
The famous small stone statues can also be purchased at souvenir shops outside.

I was able to enjoy the museum on a Saturday in August and the following Monday (yes, coming several times is better to appreciate everything!)
In two hours, I was able to see the entire collection, without dwelling on everything of course and having redone the Mona Lisa!
There is something for everyone, from Egypt to ancient Greece, the Middle Ages and even a little modern painting! I didn't take the 3DS format audio guide which should amuse the children but the people seemed passionate about it.
Be careful of the price though, take advantage before you turn 25, it’s free! Otherwise €22/person

This is going to be your best choice for food and beverage options. There are lots of places to sit all around this floor of the museum (under the Pyramid). It is a grab and go style so wherever you do eat, you have to clean up after yourself. If you didn't eat before you arrived, this is the best place to start. On the upper floors, the options are very limited and far between. Also the restaurants have strange hours.
