Le Comptoir du Malt sur Noyon

We had a very pleasant family lunch yesterday. We were lucky enough to be served by Faustin, who was always smiling and very professional. We've been before and we'll be back.

We went to the counter several times. What's a shame is that the service and the food are inconsistent, depending on the staff on duty. The portions are smaller and less attractively presented, with a tiny handful of fries (it would be wise not to pre-salt them if the person can't eat salt, for example). And the salad—just one leaf! I'm still looking for the dressing! It was supposed to be a side for a hamburger, but it's the same as nothing! The portion sizes are really excessive. I hope this will change and be taken into consideration.

Good restaurant, although they once made a mistake with the dish, but it was a first time... It was busy, but the service was great. Warm and friendly atmosphere.

I came for lunch on a Sunday. I made a mistake in my order; I hadn't noticed the goat cheese was listed. The dish was remade without goat cheese and I wasn't charged again. A big thank you to the kitchen and to our server that day, Marion. She was smiling, warm, and eager to please. Thank you again for your dedication. It makes me want to come back.

Good for this type of establishment, I would also like to highlight the service which was very good.

I was very satisfied with my visit, although I find the portions aren't as generous as they used to be. The place is friendly and welcoming; it's always a lovely time to get together as a family. Our 4-year-old and 6-year-old children enjoy coming here. We've been loyal customers for over 10 years now, and we're happy to know François. He's incredibly kind, and my children adore him. He was very attentive to them, and given their adventurous age, he was able to calm them with his presence. However, when we arrived, his colleague seemed annoyed by my youngest son's behavior. Fortunately, I appreciated how François took care of us; we felt privileged. It was a pleasure, and we'll gladly return. However, having François as our host and being served is a bit of a challenge. He manages to make us feel important, and even when we commented on the portion size, he remained professional. Even my mother was present and appreciated François' gentleness and patience; we will return, but the dishes in the kitchen need to be more generous.

My wife and I usually come to eat here once or twice a month with our 7-year-old and sometimes my teenage daughter. The welcome is always satisfactory, and we're very happy with the service and the quality of the food. When there's a small problem (which is rare), we don't hesitate to mention it, and it's resolved quickly. The owner is very friendly; he even sometimes comes to chat with our little boy. We're never disappointed; the team is friendly and professional. 😉

As regulars at the bar, last night, to our great dismay, the waiter who usually took care of us (Mathieu) was reprimanded by another (François). He was criticized for not "managing" his customers properly because, in addition to serving us, he's supposed to manage us 😂... At our table, our three children made a bit of noise and movement, but they're children... We're used to François's reprimands, but this time it was the last straw!!! There's a way you speak to your colleagues! A way you look at customers. It's outrageous! Since this isn't the first time, I think François has a serious problem with children, and he's very good at making it obvious... Since we don't go out without our children, unfortunately, the bar won't see us anymore... François will be thrilled!!

We came for dinner one evening. Our waiter, Matthieu, was very pleasant, but François was awful. As soon as there were children around, he started giving us dirty looks. And it wasn't the first time. He was incredibly disrespectful to his colleagues! François needs to leave or find a new job!

We were taken care of from our aperitif drinks to our bowling game, escorted by the owner! It was a real pleasure to see such friendly and helpful people! We'll be back very soon and with great pleasure! Morgane and Arthur
