We chose this place because of its appealing atmosphere and were worried the food might be just okay. But what a surprise! The eight of us each ordered small plates to share, and everything was delicious, subtle, fresh, and high quality. The numerous servers were very attentive, and there was always someone quick and friendly to bring us water, another dish, or a cocktail we'd ordered. It was a bit noisy to hear each other during dinner, but that's part of the concept. We were very pleasantly surprised.

We came to attend the Tuesday Cuban salsa class, which was completely free, with water available. It was crowded, with a great atmosphere, but it was difficult to see the dance instructor.
We almost didn't get in because one of our friends was wearing Puma shorts, which were deemed "too casual." Luckily, we were able to find a spare pair of pants. The staff was friendly, but please mention that clothing should be more modest, as it gets hot during the heatwave.

A wonderful discovery! We went to Comptoir Général on a Tuesday for salsa lessons. We arrived a little late for the class, which could have been beneficial for my partner and his disastrous dancing skills.
Otherwise, the atmosphere was great and my cocktail was excellent! We were able to sit in the garden; the place is fantastic.

The concept is very well executed: the merchant marine museum at the entrance, the small garden, the interior patio with its ship's hull/bar.
The food and cocktails are decent.
It's a bit pricey, but there are plenty of attentive staff, so it's understandable.
I found the sound quality wasn't great (but I suppose once you've had a few drinks, you don't really care).

Fantastic experience. We had a lovely brunch with friends, and the service was excellent, very accommodating to some latecomers. The food was superb and the decor was wonderful! We'll definitely be back. Thank you all for your warm welcome on Sunday 😎
