Le Comptoir Général sur Paris

My favorite restaurant in Paris!

Always good vibes and good cocktails

Best place to dance salsa in Paris on Tuesday night!

Love this bar. The drinks are good and there always seems to be some fun music event whenever I come.

Great atmosphere, the salsa is incredible, the restaurant is beautiful, but I was very disappointed with the "tapas" dishes. They were very expensive and there were very few of them. The "crying tiger" (a type of sausage) was, unsurprisingly, not very tasty in my opinion, and there were no sides to this dish. The tacos were only two, very basic, just meat, no onions, cilantro, sauces, or lemon. The fried chicken was the most substantial, but it tasted like frozen chicken inside, a bit mushy, not very crispy, and not much choice either. It wasn't good. If I went back, it would be for the salsa dancing atmosphere, which is very cool. Oh, and another small point: they don't even let you take photos with the flash because the lighting is too dim.

Very nice atmosphere. Cool evening. Arrive early to get a table. It was more of a casual dinner party, not a full restaurant experience, hence the food rating...

A friend's birthday was celebrated on a Friday night; the atmosphere was really good, we enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful evening. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it! 🤗
