Le Conquerant sur Bayeux

Our last night in Normandy. A great night to round off our holiday.

Great little bar especially if you’re not a big fan of the usual French waiter service, bar/restaurant expensive drinks and long waits. If you’re looking for a place where you can walk up to the bar, buy a round of drinks for a decent price, sit down and enjoy the atmosphere or the sport on the big screen, this is the place to go in Bayeux. A real little gem.

We had a wonderful time as a family. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The generous number of drinks was much appreciated, and the charcuterie board was good quality and plentiful for the price. I highly recommend this pub. We will definitely return.

Great bar, off of the main street. Feels like a locals bar or a bar for those that know! Good selection of beers, reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Will visit again.

We had a wonderful evening there with lots of English and Argentinian fans watching the World Cup semi-final. Good Guinness, friendly people, and good, fast service despite the place being packed!
