This is my third time here, but I'm quite disappointed with this recent experience compared to previous ones. The manager is alone in the dining room and seems overwhelmed at times. The presentation of the dishes and the value for money leave much to be desired. Very mixed feelings.

An evening with a friend.
No rooster, and certainly no donkey!
I ordered a veggie burger—yes, I dared! 😅
It was good, as was a delicious chocolate fondant. And yes, dark chocolate—I can't live without it. Here, it's truly delicious.
The owner is very helpful and has a sense of humor that he appreciated. That's saying something! 🤪
In short, a lovely, friendly place where I felt comfortable, and great food. Thank you, Chef!

Their paella with duck breast is delicious! Initially hesitant about this new culinary offering, I wasn't disappointed at all! A truly indulgent dish bursting with flavor! I highly recommend this restaurant and this dish, which is always on the menu!! Go for it!

Top!! Deliciously satisfying, creative, reasonably priced, friendly, fresh top quality ingredients and wine, down to even the table water is great (filtered).
Been coming here for years, whenever we visit family, and never disappoints. Today, excellent St Jacques starter, perfect steak, the best homemade fries, fragrant chicken curry, original fish burger and the creamiest Basque cheesecake. I wasn't planning on dessert, but after tasting my partner's and for only €2.50 extra in the lunch menu, I couldn't resist. Just wonderful use of spices and generous portions. Always a joyous experience!

Unfortunately, we had to wait despite having a reservation. This wasn't the restaurant's fault, but rather the customers ahead of us. Even so, a quick phone call would have allowed us to wait at the hotel instead of outside (we took the number when we made the reservation).
In any case, the rest of the evening went very well!
Special mention to the carrot soup 🥕... a real treat. We ordered the set menus (starter, main course, dessert, and wine) and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The setting is lovely: friendly and authentic. It's better suited to small groups. It's a great place to enjoy truly homemade food 👍🏻😊.

I come back again and again and I am never disappointed. Whether it is the kindness and professionalism of the waiters and the boss or the quality and originality of the dishes served! What doesn't spoil anything for me as a celiac is that I have complete confidence in them when they assure me that it is gluten-free and there is always a choice in this direction! 👌🏻
