Warm welcome and pleasant waitress. Friendly atmosphere. We were four friends, we had drinks and two delicious appetizers. Our friend thoroughly enjoyed her vegetarian dish. My two friends and I were very disappointed with the paella. It was almost black, a bit dry, and had an American taste... a shame about that, because the reviews are good.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The person who greeted us warmly, and we were served quickly.

What more can I say except that everything was fantastic! We arrived 15 minutes before the 7:15 pm service started, and the owner offered us a place to sit and enjoy a pre-dinner drink while we waited. A few moments later, we were able to choose our appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
The charcuterie and cheese board was a delight. The lobster paella was delicious. The burger was excellent.
The Basque cake and strawberry tiramisu were divine! (And the sangria was yummy).
In short: this evening was perfect, the service was impeccable, and the setting was lovely!
Thank you so much, and we will gladly return to see you on our next visit to Vannes.
Go for it at Le Coq à l’Ane restaurant!!!

A lot of effort went into providing excellent service despite record crowds due to the street fair. Smiles were always on hand for a truly outstanding experience. The food was very good and the dishes were beautifully presented. I just didn't enjoy the coffee at the end of the meal.

We went for dinner and really enjoyed the food and the service.
We also told them we were gluten-free, and they offered to slightly modify one of the dishes to accommodate our request. We really appreciated that.
