We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The person who greeted us warmly, and we were served quickly. Table of 4 (2 children, 2 adults) All four of us had a very good meal on the terrace!

What more can I say except that everything was fantastic! We arrived 15 minutes before the 7:15 pm service started, and the owner offered us a place to sit and enjoy a pre-dinner drink while we waited. A few moments later, we were able to choose our appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The charcuterie and cheese board was a delight. The lobster paella was delicious. The burger was excellent. The Basque cake and strawberry tiramisu were divine! (And the sangria was yummy). In short: this evening was perfect, the service was impeccable, and the setting was lovely! Thank you so much, and we will gladly return to see you on our next visit to Vannes. Go for it at Le Coq à l’Ane restaurant!!!

We went for dinner and really enjoyed the food and the service. We also told them we were gluten-free, and they offered to slightly modify one of the dishes to accommodate our request. We really appreciated that.

A lot of effort went into providing excellent service despite record crowds due to the street fair. Smiles were always on hand for a truly outstanding experience. The food was very good and the dishes were beautifully presented. I just didn't enjoy the coffee at the end of the meal.

06/09/2026: Fantastic experience! Very pleasant and competent staff. Delicious meal from start to finish. We had scallops as a starter, followed by lobster, and then a ribeye steak. All of it melted in your mouth. Thank you to the chef! One small drawback: the dining room wasn't air-conditioned, but perhaps that's planned for the future.
