Le Coq de Bruyère sur Villarembert

A very beautiful ski resort with a large ski area, Les Laucau is lovely, and in the summer there are plenty of hiking and cycling trails. I highly recommend it.

Stayed here last week and honestly, it hits a sweet spot. The accommodations are solid without trying too hard, which is exactly what you want after a full day on the slopes (no one needs a chandelier when you can’t feel your legs anyway). Location? Dialed in. You’re close enough to everything that “logistics” never becomes part of your vocabulary, just wake up, gear up, and go. The lift system keeps things moving, which is a polite way of saying you’ll spend more time skiing and less time questioning your life choices in a line. Rentals are easy, efficient, and surprisingly well-stocked, whether you're a first-timer or someone who insists their gear makes them faster. And the ski school deserves credit: they somehow manage to teach kids, adults, and overconfident intermediates (you know who you are) with equal patience. All in all, Les Crobier delivers exactly what you want, a great ski experience without unnecessary fuss. You come for the slopes, stay for the convenience, and leave thinking you might actually be a better skier than you are.

Beautiful, sunny ski area situated at a high altitude with plenty of blue and red slopes. Great for a workout in March.

Magnificent at this time of year, very few people, no crowds at the chairlifts, a real treat

Beautiful ski area adjacent to La Toussuire

A nice little resort, part of the Sybelles ski area. Almost all the accommodations are right on the slopes, with large apartment buildings that aren't particularly attractive but are convenient. Connections to the other resorts in the area are quite quick. Not all the slopes are groomed, and there's no information about this beforehand. We had a lovely week there.

Very nice resort, good snow conditions on the slopes, and all the shops are very welcoming.
