Just as enjoyable as ever. We might have been worried since the change of ownership, but no! It's still just as welcoming. The food is still the same (thank you, Chef). The service team is top-notch.

We came for a company dinner last night. It was great! The staff was very friendly, as always. A big thank you to them. Everything was perfect. We'll be back, and as a foodie, I recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to eat well in Nantes. Thanks again!

Always a bit disappointed by the dishes I ordered. The andouillette was greasy, the fish dry, and there was a tiny pile of pasta on the side of the plate. I was expecting fish cooked better than at home, but instead I got fish that looked like it had been left to rot in the Landes region for too long... but the setting is nice and there's plenty of seating inside and on the terrace. A bit pricey.

This restaurant's reputation has faded. Having eaten there dozens of times over the past eight years, I was disappointed with the food tonight: the steak tartare was overcooked, the fries were frozen and tasteless, and the carpaccio was basic. We only ordered one dish, but the finesse and artistry of the past are no longer there. I'd never seen the restaurant three-quarters empty on a Saturday night. Nevertheless, the service was impeccable.

18/08/2026: Wonderful range of beer and wine, great service, friendly kind staff & a very cool vibe. One minute from Machine des iles.
01/06/2026: We stopped at Le Point Bar on May 21st after visiting Les Machines de l'île, which unfortunately had already closed at 5:00 PM. The bar is in a lively area: lots of young people outside enjoying beers, spritzes, and cocktails, and the great atmosphere encouraged us to go in. We took the opportunity to escape the afternoon heat and ordered a couple of perfectly poured pints. The music was just right—lively but not too loud for conversation—and the service was very attentive. An ideal place to take a break after Les Machines or to start your night out on the island. Highly recommended.

13/10/2026: Really chill vibes. Went in this evening for casual drinks after food elsewhere. Drinks are reasonably priced and good measures. Wait staff were friendly.
22/09/2026: I love this place! Every time I go to Café Kléber, I have a great time. The atmosphere is so pleasant, the staff is welcoming, and you really feel at home. It's exactly the kind of place you want to share with your friends and family. If you're ever in Nantes, you absolutely must check it out!
