I recently had lunch at this establishment and decided to try the daily special.
For my starter, I enjoyed a poached egg with an asparagus sauce, delicate and well-executed. The daily special was a pork spider steak served with mashed potatoes: a flavorful, generous, and very well-prepared dish.
I finished with a café au lait, with the milk served separately—a nice touch.
The service was quick and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a slightly old-fashioned pub, a bit dusty in style, but still clean and welcoming.
A great place for a simple and satisfying meal!

The place is great, the atmosphere is friendly, the staff are very welcoming, and the menu looks very tempting!
But the food is far too bland... I ordered a cassoulet (admittedly, in Nantes, the idea is daring) and it was just a meat and bean gratin with unseasoned beans: the sausage wasn't a Toulouse-style cut-and-serve sausage but a bland diot, the meat wasn't anything special, the beans were almost crunchy, and the whole thing wasn't salted at all... frankly, a disappointment. My wife's capon was just as bland and dry...
Honestly, I was very disappointed, especially since the starters (deviled eggs and pâté en croûte) were very good.
Perhaps they ran out of salt and pepper, you never know, but in any case, it was honestly a disappointment.

A good restaurant with classic and delicious dishes in a unique setting.
One small drawback: we had to wait 30 minutes at the bar for our table to be ready. The restaurant offered us complimentary after-dinner drinks as compensation, which was a nice gesture.
The bill came to €45 per person for drinks, main courses, and desserts. A place worth trying.
