What can one say after being left speechless? That this restaurant is unlike any other? That, in fact, we didn't miss meat at all, and that the sea is an inexhaustible source of culinary bounty? We'll remember that with each course, we thought it was our favorite before discovering the next... which then became our new favorite! This continued until the end of the meal, when dessert was enjoyed in an intimate private room. Just like the aperitif at the beginning, in another room. The staff is exceptionally kind and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, which isn't always the case in Michelin-starred establishments. A special mention goes to our sommelier who guided us in choosing the Champagne and wine with such kindness and expertise that we rediscovered wines from our region... that we thought we knew! Wow... Impressive demonstration... Thank you again! 🙏 In short, five hours flew by without us even realizing it. Back to earth at midnight, like Cinderella, but with a thousand memories!

The ingredients were remarkably fresh and, above all, prepared with exquisite precision, preserving their unique character and preserving their essence. Each pairing was executed to perfection: the flavors complemented each other, nothing was overdone, and everything was perfectly balanced. A huge thank you also to the sommelier for the wine pairing, which was simply perfect. The wines accompanied each dish with great accuracy and truly enhanced the ingredients. From start to finish, everything was impeccable: the cuisine, the pairings, the service, and the attentiveness of the staff, who were delightful and highly professional. A big thank you!

We had booked the "A l'Abri des Flots" menu, a set menu for two that our family had given us for our 60th birthdays. The setting, both inside and out, is magnificent, and the staff is friendly. However, we were very disappointed by the concept of serving several courses (more than 10) but with only one or two spoonfuls to eat from each course. For example, half a stuffed langoustine head per person... (not lobster, but langoustine). We felt that too many flavors masked the taste of the individual ingredients. The cheese course was presented to us as if it were included in the menu, and we enjoyed the cheeses because we were still hungry. But we were surprised to have to pay an extra €29 per person for them... Considering the price of the menu, this practice seems excessive. We are accustomed to fine dining, but we will not be repeating the experience at Le Coquillage. On the other hand, Roellinger's Bistrot, on the edge of Port Mer square, is cheaper, but for us, much more pleasant, hearty and tasty.

An unforgettable evening – first with an aperitif and amuse-bouche in the garden, then at a table overlooking the bay of Cancale and Mont Saint-Michel – and then with a unique menu. It played with the flavors of the sea and the land, subtly and discreetly, supported by superb spice combinations from around the world. I am so happy to have had this culinary experience on my birthday.

Family lunch to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Everything was truly exceptional and worthy of a 3-star restaurant! The appetizers in the lounge were delicious. The same goes for the dishes served with the tasting menu. Beautiful presentation, impeccable service, and original flavors. It was flawless!
