We stopped here for a quick lunch after a beautiful walk along the coast, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. We ordered two linguine with scallops and two salads with scallops and salmon. The salads were incredibly generous and packed with fresh seafood, including different types of salmon, both smoked and marinated, as well as scallops and prawns. Everything was very fresh and delicious. We also had some wine with our meal, which was very good. The service was friendly and efficient, and the setting was absolutely spectacular. The restaurant has huge windows overlooking the beach and the famous pink granite coastline, creating a view that felt almost like being inside a postcard. It was truly stunning. The bill was fair for the quality and quantity of food: €160 for four people. Overall, a really lovely way to spend the morning, with excellent seafood, good wine, and an unforgettable view.

The staff were very friendly. We ordered a crepe and a waffle. There was plenty of whipped cream, but the ice cream was poor quality. The crepe itself had no flavor. The waffle was dry and not at all fluffy (just crispy air). The coffees were undrinkable, extremely bitter (low-grade Arabica). It's a shame, with such a lovely terrace and magnificent view. We're not tourists and we know when a crepe isn't good quality.

24/08/2026: We absolutely loved our 7 days at Maison de Marie, an ideal base for exploring the Pink Granite Coast. The "Sea View" room and its en-suite bathroom are spacious, elegant, and very comfortable—a true haven after a day of sightseeing. Daniel is an exceptional host, warm and attentive. He shared all his invaluable advice on activities, must-sees in the region, and his excellent restaurant recommendations. A special mention goes to his delicious breakfasts, prepared with great care: a real treat! We also particularly appreciated all of Daniel's thoughtful touches… so lovely and touching! In short, we shared simple, authentic, and convivial moments with our host, which perfectly reflect the quality of the welcome we received. 23/08/2026: A charming stopover to base yourself for visiting the pink granite cliffs. Daniel is an exceptional host who made our stay relaxing in an elegant and welcoming setting. The room was gorgeous and the breakfast was carefully prepared. Daniel provided us with all the information we needed to make sure we didn't miss anything during our stay in this region.
