We came yesterday, and it was far too hot in the dining room! The tartares were spicy, with way too much seasoning. The burger wasn't great either.
However, the desserts and the appetizer were very good. The waitress' gesture of goodwill towards our disappointment with the tartares was much appreciated (a complimentary coffee).
We still had a pleasant experience.

We went there by chance. And it was a lucky find! A superb, very friendly place. And the food? The sirloin steak was excellent. The andouillette sausage was succulent, and my husband had the steak tartare twice, on Wednesday and Thursday. The desserts were absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly attentive. We highly recommend it.

Good experience. There's a terrace, but it's right next to the road, so it's noisy with motorcycles and cars driving too fast.
Otherwise, no complaints, it was a good time.

We came to this restaurant after leaving Beauval Zoo. We had made a generous reservation for 8:45 pm. We ended up asking to move the reservation to 7:15 pm that same day, and this was accepted without any problem. It's a small restaurant, well located on a little street that was quite lively that evening.
The meal we enjoyed was truly excellent, the portions were perfect, there was no waste, and the price was more than reasonable for the quality of the meal (€140 for four people, including aperitif, starter, main course, and dessert). The staff was also very friendly; they were very accommodating of our situation with a toddler and a stroller. We were delighted with our evening at this restaurant, and I highly recommend it.

Passing through Saint-Aignan for a visit to Beauval Zoo, it was a wonderful discovery (or rediscovery for one of us, who had actually recommended it 😉).
The staff were attentive, very welcoming, and approachable!

The wait was a bit long, but the sirloin steak made up for it.
The dishes were generous and very well cooked, the service was very friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming and family-oriented! A place to remember, but above all, be sure to book!
