The food was delicious!!! We had the butter chicken, chicken Kashmiri and the fish Kashmiri. As a family, this is one of the best Indian we’ve had!

Food can be a lot better. Please do not add capsicum or float any vegetables in mutton/chicken curries. Owner was sweet, service was lightning fast. Food tastes can be improved.

This is our third visit, and it's always a great pleasure! A wonderful variety of dishes, an exotic decor, and excellent service. The cuisine is delicious and refined: inside, you feel like you've been transported to India! A true institution for 20 years, with impressive Gault & Millau reviews. We highly recommend it!

We've been coming back for many years; it truly deserves its Gault & Millau distinction. The service and the welcome are also top-notch.

A pleasant restaurant; we were immersed in an Indian atmosphere. I personally enjoyed a delicious chicken butter with a tasty cheese naan. I wasn't as impressed with your rice. The service was excellent; thank you to the young waiter for his dedication. Keep it up, you're on the right track. As for the owner, you're doing a great job; I encourage you to continue. Sincerely, M.S.

We went last night both had Jalfrezi order 2 nann then had to order a 3rd as they were so good. We enjoyed the food that much we went back tonight ordered a Jalfrezi and a butter chicken medium spice and 3 nann. Meals are delicious Irish coffee to finish great the owner is a gentleman had a calvados on the house to finish. If we weren't flying back to Belfast tomorrow we would definitely give it another visit. Don't walk past this gem of a place.

Mother India

22/09/2026: Four of us decided after walking through Nice's Vielle Ville to switch our dinner reservations to Mother India, and sacre bleu, are we glad we did! The atmosphere is very cozy (it's a relatively small restaurant) and very nicely decorated. Don't let the entrance put you off. The waitstaff was welcoming and very friendly, offering suggestions and answering any questions. The starters were all excellent, the garlic naans perfect. Our four different mains were all extremely well done - we shared. For the price, we ate extremely well! Even though reservations might not be necessary around 7 or 7:30, you might make one anyway, just in case, as it can fill up quickly. We really appreciated having a reservation as a backup - not every place does that. Thanks Mother India for a wonderful night in Nice!
08/09/2026: As a resident of Old Nice, this has been one of our go-to spots since 1997! The welcome, the quality, and everything else are top-notch. Christian
