Le diplomate sur Martigues

26/08/2024: We were a table of 7 people Saturday evening for a birthday. This restaurant was recommended to us. We went there with our eyes closed. We were a little disappointed on the one hand by the service which was very fast. Impersonal dishes were given at the edge of the table. It was up to us to place them in front of each guest. we had to ask for the table to be cleaned because they spilled oil on it. Otherwise, it remained on the table. My husband ordered seafood pasta which was on the menu marked with garlic and oil. But this dish arrived in tomato sauce. As for me, I asked for a coppa rossa dessert, it’s a strawberry cup with a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream and meringue. It’s true that on the site it looks very pretty With a little decoration on it. I had strawberries with a scoop of strawberry ice cream in a glass, a little bit of cream on top and no meringue. So nothing to see. on the other hand, it is true that eating on the tree-lined terrace is very pleasant, you just need to add a little smile during the service, and even if it's a rush, respect the dishes that are offered on the menu.
