Spanish (English👇🏼): since I saw this place I knew it was going to have something special. The dishes they serve are not the ones you find in any brasserie, I don't mean that they are difficult to find, not at all, I just mean that they are different from what you would normally find. Everything we ordered was too good. From the moment you enter and find the place full of locals of all ages, you realize that you are going to eat well. Clearly the wine was spectacular and sensational, like everywhere of course.
What I recommend 100% that you cannot stop ordering is the boeuf tartare, simply and simply from another planet, I couldn't believe what I was tasting, the best tartare of my life.
The very Parisian venue, we loved it, we were fascinated, everything was very good.
The service was the same, they had the best attention, attitude, speed, friendliness and knowledge of both the menu and ingredients.
This place is on the list of those I want to visit on my return to Paris, it is definitely worth it, without fail, really, without fail.
English: this is one of those places that yells “I’m really good and I own it”. Since the very moment I entered the place and I noticed that practically everyone was speaking French, I knew that place was going to be good but when I tasted the food, it was just on another level. And I'm not talking fancy experimental micro portioned stuff, I'm talking authentic GOOD French cuisine, a bit different from that classical menu that you'd find in basically every corner (not saying difficult to find, only different).
Service was to tier, they had the best attitude, they were fast, they gave some recommendations, they knew a lot about the menu and the ingredients, they recommended precisely the wines for pairing perfectly.
This place is on the list of those places I'm definitely visiting again when I go back to Paris, it's so worth it. You really gotta give it a shot.

Les Diplomates, a remarkable address in the 17th, combining brasserie atmosphere and Art Deco decor. Lunch at the counter was an impeccable experience, from Yves' warm welcome to the superbly executed plates of traditional French cuisine. The carefully chosen wine list perfectly complements this culinary adventure. A place run by enthusiasts! We are going back there very quickly.
