Le donjon sur Les Matelles

We arrived a little late to eat, but we were greeted with a smile. Not much choice when you come after 2 p.m. But the meal was good. A piece of butcher and fries for Monsieur, and me, pulled pork with vegetables and potatoes. A soft chestnut to finish. We had a great time at Brasserie le Donjon! Thank you, we will come back but earlier this time!!!

Since the new opening, the atmosphere has been really warm and relaxed! The waiters are very friendly and attentive, the chef is excellent and offers fresh, quality and tasty products! The meat and fries are a real treat! I highly recommend!

Very pleasant surprise. Discovered by chance through the market and a budding craving. We shared a mixed board and homemade fries, generous enough for 2 A small raspberry coconut panacota to finalize this little snack. Thank you also for the truly excellent service.

An address that deserves to be known! We stopped by “chance” at the brasserie le donjon after a visit to the picturesque and fabulous village of Matelles. We were welcomed with a smile and a lot of humor. We ordered dishes, each one better than the last! With the added bonus of an excellent vegetarian option (which is sometimes rare in the region). The staff offered us a high chair and coloring for our 3-year-old child: a place that adapts to children and therefore to parents! It feels good. You will have understood that we had a great time, both thanks to the dishes on our plates and to the kindness, smiles and good humor of all the staff! Professionals who love their jobs and it shows! Excellent accueil, les clients sont bichonnés! Assiettes copieuses et nous nous sommes régalés avec des produits frais et de qualité. Les tarifs sont raisonnables. Je conseille vivement ce petit coin style guinguette.☀️
