Le donjon sur Les Matelles

Despite our late arrival and last-minute reservation, we received a very warm welcome. (Group of 16!) The fries were excellent, and the meats served were of very high quality. As for the desserts, they were the perfect ending to this wonderful meal; the tiramisu was superb. We highly recommend it, both for the friendliness of the owner and the chef, and for the delicious food. Thank you again!

Warm welcome, quick service, very good food. The daily special (wild garlic sausage and fries) was delicious, the marinade for the regular dish (chicken and fries) was excellent, and the dessert was satisfying. The homemade fries were very good; don't believe the comments from those who regularly eat McDonald's fries ;-) Everything you expect from a brasserie: simple, good, and affordable.

We discovered this restaurant for lunch during a motorcycle trip. We loved the owner's friendliness, the quality of the locally sourced ingredients, the perfectly cooked pork tomahawk steak, and the convenient parking next to the restaurant. In short, we'll be back. There were certainly other dishes that would have tempted us.
