I'm from Spain and came with my family to visit Portier. We stumbled upon this place, which had great reviews, and deserved them. The quiches were delicious, as were the desserts. Good quality, tasty, traditional, and homemade food, and above all, excellent service. Highly recommended for families. Thanks and goodbye.

I've known this place since 2008. The chef-owner has an impressive background in training and experience, which I recently reviewed. It's become my go-to spot and/or where I hold my meetings. There was one location, and a second one three years ago. It's well-situated in the heart of the city. The place is simple, welcoming, and air-conditioned, with a small terrace for sunny days. Yann, the chef, is welcoming. He's both friendly and efficient, and the food is delicious. Fresh, varied, and flavorful products—even a vegetarian option! Every day, there's fish, meat, poultry, and a variety of vegetables...depending on the season, soups, gazpacho, original savory tarts, and amazing desserts...fruit salads, chocolate mousse, tiramisu, homemade tarts, etc. Coffee and iced tea are available when it's hot. An excellent, healthy, tasty, and varied spot for adults and children alike. As a long-time customer, I would gladly tell you, "Try it and come back." P.S. I am not related to Mr. Ribler.

If you're looking for a wide variety of dishes or sophisticated cuisine, this isn't the best option. But if you appreciate a small place with good ingredients and a few well-prepared items, congratulations, you've found the perfect spot! Quality, authentic French food at a reasonable price. Spectacular quiches, salads, and a selection of classic meat or fish dishes with a choice of side. The desserts are all amazing! And the coffee is high-quality and well-made. P.S. The bathroom was very clean.

Passing through Poitiers for the day, we stumbled upon this place by chance. It was a very pleasant surprise; we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our daughter, who usually eats very little, finished her plate and even had dessert. The place is also lovely for relaxing. The welcome was very warm. If we ever find ourselves back in Poitiers, we will definitely return with pleasure 🙂

Ten years later, it's still just as good.
