The place is very beautiful and friendly, the food is good and for a good price.
The steak / fries were very good with lots of taste, however I do not recommend the extra vegetable accompaniment which had no taste (I had beans)
I will go back without hesitation!
Unfortunately we were not able to have lunch at the Douglas because the restaurant was full. But I would like to thank the establishment for their kindness. I broke down in the restaurant parking lot. In the time to wait for the tow truck and then the taxi we were able to get a tray of fries for my daughter and use the toilets. Next time we are in the area, we hope to try this restaurant.
Restaurant with quick and friendly welcome. The dishes were very good. However, several points to review: 1 / lots of flies and gnats all around us in the restaurant, even though it is November. It's quite unpleasant to have to chase them constantly. 2/ After being served dessert, we would have liked to have a coffee…. But no one ever came back to our table to ask us if we wanted anything else. Yet we waited 15 minutes after finishing dessert. Too bad we went to drink it in a bar further away. 3/ the prices are still very high. €8 for a mojito if that’s not too much. 26€ for a steak of beef with morel sauce, with 2 small coves of pdt… not even a salad with it. For prices like that we could hope for a classy and quiet restaurant but it feels more canteen than anything else.
Good value for money for this restaurant. The meat is very good as are the desserts but be sure to check the note carefully because several times there are errors which are always unfavorable for the customer.
Excellent cuisine, copious, quality service, the large number of customers attest to the quality of this restaurant and all this in a magnificent manner.
