Le Dragon D'or sur Casteljaloux

I'm a regular customer at this restaurant, which certainly lends some credibility to my opinion. Closed or open? It's true, you never really know; the rather austere storefront doesn't exactly invite you in. However, the welcome has always been pleasant and friendly. Usually, there's only one person to greet you, take the money, and keep the buffet stocked… not easy, even though I've never seen more than six customers at a time… but the smile is always there. Keeping the buffet stocked… that's where the problem lies. The dishes gradually dwindle and aren't always replenished. Regulars know it's best to help yourself on your first visit 😊, but given the low number of customers, you can understand the benefit of cooking "to order" and avoiding waste. As for the quality: the spring rolls and fritters are good (not homemade). The main courses are of inconsistent quality and sometimes difficult to identify 😁 Pork and chicken, what sauce??? But there are some pleasant surprises to be had, especially with the fish. The desserts are homemade and delicious. In short… decent Asian cuisine in Casteljaloux at a very affordable price is fantastic!

When you find the taste of your childhood restaurant in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, but it's in Lot-et-Garonne, for €13 all-you-can-eat at lunchtime! Everything is homemade! It's amazing! Thanks again and congratulations on this delicious meal!

I highly recommend it; the prices are very affordable and the food is of very good quality.
