Le Fatra sur Les Sables-D'Olonne

As always, a warm welcome and wonderful cuisine

We come to Fatra for dinner every time we're near Les Sables d'Olonne, and as usual, we have nothing to complain about and will gladly return. Special mention for the sweetbreads, absolutely divine!

Ideally located on the port, Le Fatra boasts a truly pleasant setting. The welcome and seating were seamless. We were with our two young children and appreciated having a table in a corner of the air-conditioned dining room, with plenty of space around us. It's a real comfort when dining as a family. We started with mojitos: good and enjoyable, even if they were fairly classic and didn't offer any real surprises. The food, however, was a very good experience overall. From the appetizer to the dessert, the dishes were well-crafted, high-quality, and featured some surprising flavor combinations. You can sense a real attention to detail in the flavors and presentation. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. If I had to mention a minor drawback, it would be the service. The pace was sometimes a little inconsistent: some moments were quite quick, while others required a longer wait. I would also have appreciated a warmer and more attentive service. Our waitress was rather reserved: few smiles, the dishes weren't really described or presented, and sometimes those little touches like a simple "enjoy your meal" were missing, which make the experience more pleasant. Nevertheless, it's still a good restaurant on the port, with a pleasant setting, refined cuisine, and beautifully presented dishes. 7.5/10 for our experience.

During our holiday in Les Sables d'Olonne, your restaurant was recommended to us by a local shopkeeper. We were delighted by the warm welcome throughout the meal and the high quality of the food. A truly excellent culinary experience. The Chaume district is perfect for a short stroll after your meal.
