For the first time, as two Japanese residents of Paris, we visited without a reservation, but the owner himself warmly greeted us in both French and English. We were free to choose from the available seats and opted for a window seat with a great view. The menu was meticulously explained, and we could access it in various languages ​​via a QR code. We ordered two simple starters and a 1.2kg aged rib steak. The staff showed us the meat before cooking it, and we watched as it was expertly cooked over a firewood stove, reminiscent of a campfire. The steak was cooked to perfection and came with a delightful array of sides, including potatoes, salad, ratatouille, and an assortment of sauces. We even got to take the bone home. The exceptional food and hospitality made for an unforgettable experience. The price was worth every penny. Thank you, and I will definitely return! We came in December 2023, and we were not disappointed! Incredible, quality meat, tender and grilled just right! It's true that the boss has character but nothing malicious, his little remarks, sometimes a little surprising, created a good atmosphere and were more like teasing (to be taken in the second degree obviously, I don't understand people who offensive for this). An original personality and a unique setting that we would be delighted to meet again for a future dinner!

A simply wonderful experience! From starter to dessert, we let ourselves be guided by the boss's recommendations. Homemade foie gras, homemade terrine, snails, and what can we say about the dishes... an excellent rib, a matured one and lamb chops, all cooked over a wood fire and accompanied by delicious homemade sauces. Without a doubt, the best meat I have ever tasted! Negative comments make me laugh a lot. We discovered an authentic, smiling boss, Jean-Yves, who will guide you in the choice of wine and meal. In this restaurant, no cell phones at the table, no hats inside, arriving on time: good manners which unfortunately are being lost these days... I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who shares this spirit. An address not to be missed!

In October 2020, I discovered this meat restaurant, Flamboire. For meat lovers, it's heaven. This piece of meat was so tender, tender and tasty. Great choice of wine. Homemade dessert. Friendly atmosphere.

I came to this restaurant a few years ago and I plan to come back in the next few days. I was a little surprised by the comments but I wanted to rub shoulders with the character of the owner. I realized that I had never left a review that evening, so I worked on it. The meat is really really excellent with a real bias towards cooking. The owner came to sit with us at the end of the service, a strong character, certainly divisive but I would go back there without any problem. A real quality restaurant.

Excellent side of beef but a little expensive (100, 140 or 180 for 2 depending on the maturation time of the meat) Superb endive salad. Fast service but not always super friendly. There was a group nearby so the atmosphere was a bit noisy that day.

We came to eat as a couple one evening during the week, living in the area we had wanted to try this restaurant for a while. Without much surprise we enjoyed ourselves, the meat of unparalleled quality, the homemade sauces, the delicious accompaniments (big nod to ratatouille). From start to finish we enjoyed ourselves, the chocolate soufflé delighted our taste buds. In addition to all that, everything is served generously, the place and the welcome go hand in hand with the meal. We had a great time.

I came with my partner for Valentine's Day and just great. We had a dinner of excellent meat and wine and I love the character of the boss who is a real character and that is a plus (the criticisms of those who don't like sincere and frank people are zero)!
