I came to this restaurant a few years ago and I plan to come back in the next few days. I was a little surprised by the comments but I wanted to rub shoulders with the character of the owner. I realized that I had never left a review that evening, so I worked on it. The meat is really really excellent with a real bias towards cooking. The owner came to sit with us at the end of the service, a strong character, certainly divisive but I would go back there without any problem. A real quality restaurant.

Excellent side of beef but a little expensive (100, 140 or 180 for 2 depending on the maturation time of the meat)
Superb endive salad.
Fast service but not always super friendly.
There was a group nearby so the atmosphere was a bit noisy that day.

We came to eat as a couple one evening during the week, living in the area we had wanted to try this restaurant for a while. Without much surprise we enjoyed ourselves, the meat of unparalleled quality, the homemade sauces, the delicious accompaniments (big nod to ratatouille).
From start to finish we enjoyed ourselves, the chocolate soufflé delighted our taste buds.
In addition to all that, everything is served generously, the place and the welcome go hand in hand with the meal. We had a great time.

I came with my partner for Valentine's Day and just great. We had a dinner of excellent meat and wine and I love the character of the boss who is a real character and that is a plus (the criticisms of those who don't like sincere and frank people are zero)! Thank you for this moment, we will come back!

Je ne crois pas avoir dégusté une telle côte de bœuf (maturée, 11jours) par le passé. La qualité de la viande est indiscutable et la cuisson au feu de bois, parfaitement maitrisée, la rend tout simplement exceptionnelle. Waouh ! Enfin merci à Jean-Yves Chesneau pour ce bel accueil. Combler trois carnassiers affamés n’est vraiment pas chose aisée !

J'ai longtemps lu les différents avis avant de faire mon choix. Tenter ou non de passer la porte de ce restaurant qui semblait, si on en lit certains, dirigé par un affreux personnage. J'ai pris mon courage à deux mains et sauté le pas. Je n'ai pas été déçu.
Mon avis est le suivant : la viande y est fabuleuse, la cuisson parfaite, le choix des vins impressionnant. L'accueil a été chaleureux, les échanges bon enfant. J'ai passé un superbe moment, c'est une très bonne expérience, je ne manquerai pas d'y retourner. Les avis à 1 étoile reflètent plus l'aigreur de ceux qui les envoient que d'une réalité objective.

C'est plus qu'un restaurant, c'est une expérience ! Accueil chaleureux, pas de chichi, on va droit au but ! La viande est excellente, la cuisson parfaite. Une ambiance amicale et décontractée. Après une semaine au Maroc entre tagines et couscous, on ne pouvait pas rêver mieux ! Bref, au top !
