Excellent welcome... Barbara is full of humor... As for the food: excellent, high-quality, fresh ingredients, and very well prepared.
I'm appalled by the rating given by some... I will gladly return and highly recommend it.

When we looked at the menu, there was a woman from the restaurant who really tried her best to get us onto the terrace. She succeeded.
After we had taken our seats, I read the reviews. And they didn't look very good. But we decided to give it a try anyway.
We ordered a set menu. The starter tasted good. The main course was good too, and the dessert as well. The service was also very nice, and there was a good atmosphere on the terrace. That was pleasant. So 4 stars is enough for this restaurant.

We came today and ordered the €24 set menus for adults (starter, main course, dessert). The children only ordered individual dishes. Regarding the food: the starters were very good, the fish was tough and undercooked, the crepe was very dry, the burger was rather light (just a patty and a tomato with sauce), the pizza was excellent and the beef was really good too, the lasagna was good but a bit light for an adult, and the dessert was very good. As for the service: a very warm welcome and quick service, and a very pleasant atmosphere in the square.

We came for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. Our children ate there, and we had another drink. We received a very warm welcome from Sarah, who was wonderful and with whom we had a great chat. Unfortunately, the owner was unpleasant and even spoke rudely to him. The problem with owners is that they don't realize that it's thanks to servers like Sarah that restaurants succeed, not the owners who are aggressive and unpleasant towards them.

Perhaps they took the reviews to heart, because yesterday's meal was fantastic!! We even had the cod with fries. Everything tasted so delicious that we were absolutely thrilled. A light mist made sitting on the terrace in August quite pleasant. The waiter was incredibly friendly and definitely deserved his tip. We would come back anytime we're in Avignon. Thank you so much! 🤩

We were passing through for the Avignon Festival and we weren't disappointed! The four-cheese pizza, the mixed salad, and the half duck breast with its accompaniments were all very good. No complaints whatsoever!
