Le Fourat sur Ambes

Great atmosphere, very friendly. I come here often for work and it's a good place to come every lunchtime.

Having cycled from Bordeaux along the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, with a magnificent panoramic view of Bourg-sur-Gironde, our group of 30 cyclists from Stade Bordelais Cyclo parked their bikes and rested at the Relais du Fourat in Ambes. A haven of good cheer and generous cuisine, a truly local atmosphere that lifts your spirits, we refueled and hopped back on our bikes to finish our route through the Entre-Deux-Mers region, returning to Bordeaux. A total of 100 km, 4.5 hours of cycling and 2.5 hours of bliss at the Relais du Fourat. Go there, it's authentic! @stadebordelaiscyclos @jfstien
